Life doesn't need to be complicated. I used to think that it did. I assumed that my kids needed all of the new, electronic toys and that our house needed every new gadget that came along. Now, I have learned the valuable lesson that less really IS more. Having less means I have more space, more time, more energy and more peace of mind. In short, I have a lot more joy and a lot less stress! The funny thing is, I don't miss all of the things we have "given up". In truth, we rarely used them anyway, and the benefits have been amazing!
Okay, even as I type this, I am asking myself the same question that is likely going through your head, "Who am I, to be telling you how to make your life easier?". The answer is that I am no one particularly special or all that different from anyone else. I am a stay-at-home-mom, an Army wife (for a little while yet), a full-time psychology student (I will be starting on my Master's degree in the fall of 2012), a freelance writer, and the owner of this website. I am extremely busy, and I do not like to waste time! I am extremely efficient and have almost perfected the art of multitasking. I have put forth the time and effort to determine the best ways I can find to do all of the things that I need to do as efficiently and simply as I can and have applied what I have learned in my studies to my own life. My life has improved so much that I want to share this with you!
